This season Jason Wu took the more naughtier approach! The collection according to tim blanks "50 Shades of wu" which I think fabulously describes this collection as its all about sex and beauty something we have not seen from Wu yet! Helmet Newton was the inspiration for this collection and it could be seen in every essence of the runway looks the hair omg the hair was so major this fabulous chic bold twist it was so sleek so chic and was stunning! Then there was the strong lip and pale face I loved seeing this look again as it is so strong and really beautiful and that really Helmut Newton way! Looking at this jason wu collection it clearly is similar to the photographs of helmut newton a dark sexual chic look! Really my phrase for this collection would be, "Sex in its Chicest form!"
37 year old Carolyn Murphy opened the collection in a sexy leather look which was really just so fab(love vetren runway appearances) Leather was a major theme throught! There were sexy leather harnesses,dresses,pants, skirts etc! I loved how this very strong sexy fabric was mixed with very Wu looks like a fab pink lace dress was made very more helmut and sexy with a leather harness! The first time I felt sex was when the most seductive fab sheer bra to came of with a leather skirt in a lingerie lace style it screamed everything about this collection, CHIC!,HELMUT!,SEX!
The sheer organza fabulously tailored jackets in black and white where certainly the some of the best pieaces in this collection, they had such craftsmanship and such allure but also with a little contrast! The collection was also about contrast it was pretty things put with something more sexy and dark to great a fab and original look! Really elegance meets sex!!! The accesories in this collection were some of wu's best fabulously commercial and yet so chic! Firstly I died for the sheer black shoes I thought they were so sexy and chic! Then there were the very strong commercial black leather pumps similar to the ones shown at fall! Loved the bags especially the round cases and the leopard skin and white ones! Also the seductive sheer gloves and headpieces played fabulously to the theatrics of the fab show!
Finally there were the final gowns which I deemed CHIFFON HEAVEN! They moved to perfection, they glimmered perfectly in the light with there stunning crystals! It was just such chiffon heaven!!!!
Lace,leather,organza,chiffon were all infused in the most fab ways and created absolutely stunning looks which were both reminiscent of Wu classic and of mainly Helmut Newton this fab contrast created a chic and elegance sexual image with inthralled me!
