This is a sort film presented by the italian label directed by roman polanski and starring helena bonham carter and a fab fur prada coat. I really dont get this film i find quite wired but i love the character helena plays she's very fab and so are her shoes!!
This years oscar de la renta resort collection was a mixture of 3 things old school 50s couture,retro 80s power woman and the new modern and fresh oscar girl all merged into one fabulous collection! The show started with simple easy summery ready to wear pieces such as cute print jumpsuit,shorts and blazer and several summer flowing dresses. I loved the elegant tweed and lace dresses and some of those cute tweed jackets! This collection was the first time oscar has every done a photography print which i thought was him growing into the modern times!! But the oscar de la renta customer is not the cool downtown girl but the preppy upper east sider young,rich and very elegant and oscar also would be a favorite of her mothers the wealthy upper east side power women is another oscar girl there were fab items for all of them. The sequenced skirts and glittering tops for the young girl, the floral and tweed dresses for the older oscar woman!!! I saw a hint of 80s oscar there was a slight tilt to the retro 80s some where oscar is most comfortable this woman was power and glamour!! Me being oh so old school i loved with a passion the glamorous 50s couture inspired looks the ruffles,lace,tulle sequenced all so fab!! I particularly liked a elegant red lace tulle dress which was the mix of new and old the neckline was sporty and fresh the skirt was couture heaven it was fab!! I also dyed for the OSCAR GOWNS!! The draped red was sexy and summery, the golden tule sequence gown was classic oscar fairy-tale moment and the final look of the show was a fab black and white tulle print gown it was classic couture and heaven also oscar was mixing the new old and the formal and the casual in one of my fav looks of the show it was a sequenced biege sweater worn with fab metallic silver pleat skirt i thought it was cute casual and very young!! I saw a little audrey hepburn,a little blair waldrof and a little michelle obama in this collection classic,young and very oscar!!! 
Its been a busy few days in cannes with party overload, red carpet madness and photo call galore. Many stars have turned out in there fabest Rivera style looks and Jessica Chasten has been the highlight of the weekend wearing several stunning red carpet looks and prefect pretty photo call outfits! The looks have been light and bright very cannes and the carpet has experienced some annoying moments one being cheryl cole looking like a used tampon on the red carpet, i really could have used without seeing her!! There have been some major parties including the armani party hosted by sean Penn. Glitzs, glam and Rivera sun its always fab at cannes!!! Photo Call Galore!

It was the biggest charity event in europe and for its 20th anniversary it was bigger and better. Hosted in vienna many of fashions faces made appearances including the fabulous Naomi campbell and other italia vogue editor Francoa Sozzani. Haven't actually figured out what was happening i think it was dinner,fashion show auction??? and bill clinton was there???so just enjoy images from the fab and crazy event!

Todays pick of the day is this tropical print blazer, it is one of the hottest items this season for a good reason!! Its vibrant print adds color,trend and fun to any look fabulously shown on the runway with black t shirt and pants, it can easily turn a dull look mega fab, mega fashion!!! I would style it with white or black wear it with something minimalist or if your a more bold and vibrant girl wear it with prints and go crazy with the accessories!!! This topshop tropical floral blazer is the closest thing you will find to the altuzarra blazer though it isn't as bright and vibrant the print is beautiful and can still brighten up any look and lets you be on trend due to the floarls and tropical influence. I think this would be favorable amongst most ordinary girls due to the fact its less in your face but i think its just less fab. But still love it and recommend you buy it!!! This is most alike the original its vibrant but not to much,cool and very refreshing and so affordable!!! Victoria has plans to open her first standalone store in London.
"People say, 'Am I going to have my own store?' I would love to," she said. "That's what I'm working on at the moment. It would probably be in London, but in the not-too-distant future maybe it will be Hong Kong. Who knows?"
She says that she has her sights set on expansion in the eastern markets, as well as in the UK and the US.
"What I do really is not just focus on the US or England," she toldCNN. "I mean there are a lot of territories that are really big for me and Asia is very exciting. I'm just scratching the surface at the moment. I want take baby steps with this business; I don't want to run before I can walk."

Tom ford has sold his home in London's Mayfair for an undisclosed sum.
Ford, who also owns properties in New York, Los Angeles and New Mexico but spends most of his time in London, bought the 8,222 square-foot Georgian townhouse in 2004 for £5.75 million. Three years ago, the Sunday Times reports, he placed it back on the market - presumably improved markedly by his taste and attention to design detail for £45 million, but failed to find a buyer.
He has since been spotted house hunting in South Kensington.

Kerr's favorite job
VICTORIA'S SECRET Angel Miranda Kerr may have walked for some of the world's most famous fashion houses - from Chanel to Stella McCartney- but she counts Balenciaga as her favourite show for a very special reason, unrelated to fashion.
"I was pregnant at the time, so my son Flynn and I walked the catwalk together," Kerr told us. "He was in my belly, so it made it really special."
Kerr is in demand now more than ever - aside from the luxury catwalks, she is currently Bally's spring/summer 2012 campaign star and one of Victoria's Secret's most high-profile Angels. A mother of a one-year-old and wife of Orlando Bloom, she has managed to find a work-life balance.
"At the moment I'm trying to do 60/40 - I spend most of my time at home being a mother and only work on jobs that I really love and with brands that I really want to work with," she said. "I've cut back quite a bit because especially the travelling can be too much and my son is obviously my number one priority. It's working out well at the moment because I'm doing fun jobs here and there and getting to spend lots of time with my boys."

Kristian Stewart has revealed that she was never a fan of the Disney version of Snow White; because the heroine just wasn't her kind of girl.
"In the original she totally represents what a woman wanted to be back then: the ultimate maternal figure," she says of the cartoon classic. "She cleans house really well. It's just that [women] do more than that now… We're not made to take out big guys in armour, so [in this film,] it was really about being faster and smarter."
The Twilight actress, who plays the fairytale character opposite wicked Queen Charlize Theron in forthcoming film Snow White and the Huntsman, also revealed that external beauty isn't as important as Hollywood seems to believe.
"If you're not cool as well; if you don't have the heart to back up your looks, you are ugly," she told the Guardian. "I've met so many people who I thought were so gorgeous and talented and amazing. And then you meet them for one second and you're like: 'you are wearing a costume, you are a fake, you are so unattractive'. And it doesn't always come across in a picture, but you can be really beautiful in a still frame, and then, in life, moving around, you're ugly."

BURBERRY was awarded $100 million yesterday by a Manhattan Federal court, which ruled that a network of Chinese internet counterfeiters had infringed upon the brand's trademark. The group was found to have sold items bearing counterfeited Burberry trademarks,WWD reports, including imitations of the brand's check and its equestrian knight design.
The defendants failed to answer the complaint or appear in court when summoned, resulting in the substantial damages in the complainant's favour. In addition to the financial award, the judge granted a permanent injunction against the sites, and transferred control of the offending domain names to Burberry.
Last month, Hermès International was awarded an identical payout of $100 million against 34 counterfeit websites selling imitations of its products.

NAOMI WATTS has admitted that she is "absolutely terrified" about the prospect of playing the late Diana, Princess of Wales in the forthcoming biopic of the last two years of her life.
"She is a part of our history, an incredible woman and fascinating but a tragic ending," Watts said as she attended an even at The Orangery in London's Holland Park, just next to the Princess' former home - Kensington Palace, this week. "It's a good script, but it's very scary. I kind of wanted to say no but I couldn't."
The film, called Caught In Flight, will document her relationship with heart surgeon Dr Hasnat Khan before her untimely death in Paris in August 1997
"Now I'm doing all the research and there is so much to read," she added, the Daily Mail reports. "I just hope we make a good film and people can learn something new about her that's interesting. There are a lot of people who knew her, and a lot of books to read. One story is different to the next so it's hard to gauge what was the truth. M&S Graduate
THE Scottish Fashion Awards' Graduate of the Year, Campbell Dunn, has seen his first dress for Marks & Spencer arrive in store. The designer, who was awarded the M&S-sponsored accolade in June 2011, was chosen as the winner from seven finalists - and is the second SFA Graduate to design a dress for the company.
"I was a bit apprehensive about going to see arriving in store, since that was the first time I had seen it," Dunn admitted today. "But I was really happy with the finish; the final result is incredible. I popped in to the store at Marble Arch in London this week and saw it there and at the press show, one of the girls was wearing it - which was lovely. The award is a great accolade to have on your CV - and to be from Scotland and win a Scottish award means a lot. It's definitely helped my profile in the industry. I'm in the process of setting up a menswear label called Nomoi just now as well as working at M&S, so it's great. Everything is going really well."
