The rick owens fall collection was all about brutalism and architecture. Urban and street were aspects of this collection also rap music was played during show think urban brooklyn meets couture a mix of the fabulous dramatic rick owens long couture silhouettes with a rough and cool urban brutal mix. The headpieces were a sort of balaclava but more pretty. I loved the leather jackets and found the coolest and most wearable item in the collection!! The classic rick owens skirts were also really cool there were also new aspects to this collection the white and black plaid and the fabulous graphic and tough white fur paneled leather jackets. This collection was quite threat and had a powerful and graphic effect!
The nina ricci fall collection was all about dress up! It was all about a young classically french girl playing dress up from her mothers or grandmothers closet creating a quirky chic look. The collection featured amazing tweeds,;little black dresses, very seductive lingerie. Lets start with the tweeds that were genius, tweed something old that you would relate with your grandmother made into something cool and sexy and fashionista or nina ricci girl would just dye for. There were plenty of heavenly chic little black dresses in this collection which had a sexy feel and were so french boudoir and so french chic! it think some of the best little black dresses we have seen this season!!! Then there was a major focus of the collection the lingerie looks that were truly the most sexy looks imaginable and so french because they didn't show skin they showed the illusion and the power of a women's body through sheer and classic lingerieo silhouettes!!!! This collection had a darker and more "wiked" feel. Overall this was a marvoulous nina ricci collection and one of my favourate shows of paris so far it really captured a certain french sexy wo
This was Paris's top new designers second season for the house of balmin and it was another fantastic show!!!! The key focus of this collection were those heavenly embroidered white dresses some with a fabulous and light floral print really were the it piece of this collection. For the past few seasons carven has became famous for its youthful pretty girly and lace dresses. This season the collection again was youthful pretty and showed a few lace aspects but this collection was more about fun colorful prints and more structured dresses. The collection opened with a few paisley print looks which set the printalicous tone! There were also ancients chinese prints and stripes! There were cute knit dresses and sweaters which are the causel and simple idea of carven. This collection focused on dresses some in print,velvet and satin with a stuctural aspect. Overall this
For balenciagas pre fall show i got very excited by the bold 80s statement there was. Today i saw that statement evolve into a fabulous collection featuring a high power executive women and what i called a spacey look. The show was in a very retro spacey decorated room the walls were something out of what i believe to be star wars then the first looks came out and they were colorful sheer dresses with spacey glossy details then after a few dresses i shouted "OMG 80s!!!" the last season 80s was in was fall 2009 i remember it well these collection finally got me excited about the 80s again. It was all about power an "executive women" this women was powerful and sexy and had very board shoulders!!!! It was all in the shoulders that we could see this very bold statement of power also in the fabulous tailoring and the nostalgic classic 80s power women silhouettes!!! This women was not all work an no play nicholas made 80s sweats attractive!!! Several looks featured pants based on the classic sweater in that moment i saw this high powerful executive runing in central park listening to her walkman wearing her hair up in a pony tail!!!! SO 80S!!! There were sexy and more fun party dresses that were sheer lose and very metallic or the super sexy tailored blocked dresses in 3 different colors and fabrics and very strongly tailored!!!! Super sexy!!!. The jackets and sweaters in a vivid zebra print caught me eye also those fabulous white skirts also the major accessories(was sad to see no controversially fabulous hats!!!) But how will a women in 2012 wear this collection??? We will soon be finding out and that is a new task of My'!!!! Will be sharing me results in the near future!

Rochas latest collection had the sophisticated 60s vibe showing a marvelous collection of great ready wear pieces and fabulous 50s/60s couture style gowns. Before the more dramatic finale looks there were the more simply looks that i referred to as sophisticated 60s and also a little teacher chic! There were great sweaters and woolen fabrics also the prints were a vibrant and fun feature that i could really see on a 21st century girl how maybe likes a retro twist. There was a vast variety of pants,dresses and skirts available so everyone is covered. The pants were long and tailored i thought they looked great (i'm in the middle of a pants fetish at the moment!!!)the dresses were 60s style satin in print or solids. Then there were the very mad men sexy 60s secretary pencil skirts all of these can be styled with great coats,jackets and sweaters from the collection! I found the color palette to be dull but not boring if dull couldn't be boring? Then there was the evening which featured fabulous couture style gowns as always at rocha!! There were some more unusual that many women wouldn't wear and then there were the more flatter dresses a women would wear with the feel of 21st century vintage girl! Especially the gowns with that were slim and had a playful bow this dress is timeless classic then there were the solid sating gowns with a cropped sleeve, this look was very minimalist and chic i could see it on keria knightly or penelope cruz! Dries van notens latest collection was inspired by a trip to london he took and he was influenced by a museum exhibition which he shows in his prints, he say there were all made in london print and made in paris, there was also worldly aspect to this collection there was fabulous french tailoring ancient chinese prints and utilitarian aspects in cool jackets,pants and coats. The pants were something to look at some were well tailored and skinny and the others were more interesting ballon pants which had a very industrial feel and arty feel. The colors were light and dark pretty clean whites with blue and orange tone prints then there was the darker military greens. There was great diverse pieces in this collection all with a well tailored security so any dries customer can pull them off. The furs were so major at one point i said randomly "fur fetish". So the collection was very classicaly tailored with diverse worldly prints inspired by a trip to london and also overall a diverse and well round collection of great pants,jackets,boots,coats,dresses and major FURS!!!
Last season Anthony vaccerello was suddenly one of the most talked about new and up in coming designers showing edgy cool sleek clothes. Last season a good way to get media attention would be to have a super sexy klaire kloss at the top of her game finish your show in a super fabulous and sleek cutout black silk dress, this season an even better publicity stunt is to have the famous disappearing act klaire kloss do her first runway appearance of the season at your show and also add in very other top model(joan smalls,anja rubik etc) plus these fabulous sexy empowering clothes really makes for a successful show. The show this season focused on tailoring but also had those vaccerello sexy edges. There were lots of sleek black satin PANTS!!! and jackets all so fabulously tailored. The pants were so major he showed a diversity of them in super appealing silhouettes any women would dye for!!!!! There was a armory feel in this collection shown with protective belts and sexy almost bionic looks that are very powerful and will protect any women. The collection finish with metallic green short dresses and fabulous,glamourous golden gowns and skirts really light the runway up and added that extra pinch of glamour to this sleek and tailored collection. The final dress undoubtable stole the show(even though i don't think it was as much a major moment than the sexy klarie kloss look was last season) It was a fabulously sleek and sexy one shoulder black dress with a gold metallic almost armory wrapped around the top in a cool leather it was a sexy warrior women pretty major!!!!
