This season Jason Wu took the more naughtier approach! The collection according to tim blanks "50 Shades of wu" which I think fabulously describes this collection as its all about sex and beauty something we have not seen from Wu yet! Helmet Newton was the inspiration for this collection and it could be seen in every essence of the runway looks the hair omg the hair was so major this fabulous chic bold twist it was so sleek so chic and was stunning! Then there was the strong lip and pale face I loved seeing this look again as it is so strong and really beautiful and that really Helmut Newton way! Looking at this jason wu collection it clearly is similar to the photographs of helmut newton a dark sexual chic look! Really my phrase for this collection would be, "Sex in its Chicest form!"
37 year old Carolyn Murphy opened the collection in a sexy leather look which was really just so fab(love vetren runway appearances) Leather was a major theme throught! There were sexy leather harnesses,dresses,pants, skirts etc! I loved how this very strong sexy fabric was mixed with very Wu looks like a fab pink lace dress was made very more helmut and sexy with a leather harness! The first time I felt sex was when the most seductive fab sheer bra to came of with a leather skirt in a lingerie lace style it screamed everything about this collection, CHIC!,HELMUT!,SEX!
The sheer organza fabulously tailored jackets in black and white where certainly the some of the best pieaces in this collection, they had such craftsmanship and such allure but also with a little contrast! The collection was also about contrast it was pretty things put with something more sexy and dark to great a fab and original look! Really elegance meets sex!!! The accesories in this collection were some of wu's best fabulously commercial and yet so chic! Firstly I died for the sheer black shoes I thought they were so sexy and chic! Then there were the very strong commercial black leather pumps similar to the ones shown at fall! Loved the bags especially the round cases and the leopard skin and white ones! Also the seductive sheer gloves and headpieces played fabulously to the theatrics of the fab show!
Finally there were the final gowns which I deemed CHIFFON HEAVEN! They moved to perfection, they glimmered perfectly in the light with there stunning crystals! It was just such chiffon heaven!!!!
Lace,leather,organza,chiffon were all infused in the most fab ways and created absolutely stunning looks which were both reminiscent of Wu classic and of mainly Helmut Newton this fab contrast created a chic and elegance sexual image with inthralled me!
Peter Soms collection opened the second day of nyfw on a very pretty note! The collection was filled with pretty pinks,pastel blues, elegant midriffs , ladylike lace, adorable knits , glimmering floral embellishments and lots of peter som florals! I think collection was really ladylike and pretty with a chic spring/summer twist! The showed opened with light pinks and florals with fab tweed items and cute playful dresses in blues and pinks which I really died for! In my show notes I wrote "Love the shorts" they were knee length and wide they had a relaxed less polished attitude to them which I lik in contrast to the ladylike looks! Then there were the flowing silk printed pieces which i found to be cool and quite bohemian also another cool feature to this collection was the graphic multi color and multi textural looks! The start of the collection was a pretty elegant ladylike look and as the collection progressed became more bohemian and cool but still with a polished elegance especially when it came to the metallic leopard print which I think looked fab and cool! The final looks of the collection were fab satin embellished pieces which brought back the lady to the collection. Overall was super fab contrast and there are a fab variety of great pieces for spring!
Nyfw is now in full swing and so are the fab fashionable new york fashion week parties! See what the fab stars wore to the early nyfw events including some madison avenue store openings, a lunch and awards show! Expect much more cool after parties of the week!

The first day of New York fashion week has few major shows so the big street style stars were not on the scene but there were still a fab amount of extremely cool and stylish people dressing fabulously original :D
Tadashi Shoji made a real name for himself during awards season this year with the Helps Octavia Spencer wearing Tadashi to the globes,baftas,sags a and the oscars! He is now a big celeb red carpet dresser and his collections are now infamous for there fabulous saturation of lace! This season the elegant and sophisticated tadashi woman was that little more bohemian she wore her hair in a simple ponytail had very tropical long flowing lace gowns, at one point during the show I called it tropical lace because it was a very tropical beach relaxed look but done in beautiful lace! Bohemian Princess is certainly the phrase for this collection floor sweeping gowns worthy of royalty and in a more bohemian fluidity! I loved some of the white gowns I thought they would be perfect for a wedding on the beach in greek! Or the final silk chiffon gowns perfect for this years award season and uptown social calender! I thought this season tadashi incorporated lace in a major way and also showed beautiful gowns as always! Really it was just breath taking because those dresses were just so major!!!
Ok ive totes been obsessing over Jenni Kayne since her fall collection it was just really great cool girl clothes and major fur hats! Then there was her resort collection which was summery and cool and now I've totes fallen in love with her spring collection! The girls look is cali girl at the beach in the presentation the girls are styled like such fashionista's and really like little cali interns! The presentation opened with this fab navy and red aztec print which I feel in love with straight away! Also all the girls are wearing this major and really minimal flats in many different colors and fabric which im declaring a fall must have for shoppers this spring you need one in every color!!! So then there were really bright looks like a vibrant pink floor length dress and the most fab bright yellow look and if you read my most recent post you will know Im in love with yellow this spring!!! Great oversized blazers, major flats, super cool shorts,bright fab pieces, fab dresses that work for all aspects of a cool cali girls life! and finally there are two knit looks in this collection both worn with sorts and they are to die for!!! Every one needs that jenni kayne knit cardigan!!! This collection is the cool girl at her coolest totes relaxed and is just looking fab in the Californian sun!
Richard Chai was the first collection I seen during fashion week! It was bright,colorful,feminine,sporty and just the perfect start to what will obvi be a perfect week! The clothes sporty quality was the first thing I noticed it was very tennis meets surfer! The girl was cool and I just died for the color palette, im totes obsessed with that yellow which im already seeing is going to be trend as I have seem some tone of yellow in all the collections ive seen so far! Last year sports wear and midriffs where very big for spring this season I think the sporty feel is really justified after an olympic summer, and also the midriff proved last season to be cool and a major success so I love the incorporation of these to features a very cool summery collection! Some of the things i died for where the white sheer floral pieces which were flowy really cool and just looked major! I loved the denim raincoat! Thought that was a fab new way of keeping water proof this spring! Also the crystal metallic items at the end because of the metallic and crystals with the sporty silhouettes and fabrics,major, anything yellow i screamed for! and also cool white tennis sporty looks where the coolest! Over all this collection is great way to kick of the season and I dye dye dye for EVERYTHING!!!
Last season was the first time I say creatures of the wind and I thought it was fab, something new imaginative and fun! After being nominated for the CFDA award like last year the brand has been on the rise I even saw one of there most fab dress's in a vogue editorial which is a really big deal! This season they showed in a more clinical location but the clothes were far from that! The were fab prints which were quirky,retro and cool they are really the graphic image that this brand is! I saw some 50s looks especially those fab skirts which had major embellishments! To give you one sentence about this show I really wouldn't have a clue, really I dont know what it was it was something unique! There were maternary pilgrim touches, teenage 50s girl, 50s couture and also 90s with that 2012 look so I dont think that makes any sense! But lets just enjoy no question its something new and so original and fun! I can see those looks on the ever day woman it has a very cool wearable quality. The metallic shiny python shirt for example how major and cool is that at also those prints had such a cool unique touch to your wardrobe and dont get me started on all the absolutely delicious colors those vibrant bubblegum pinks,greens and blue!#StatementDressing! Also I can see this collection totes being in magazine editorials especially the final gown which is black and silver metallic with those ruffles tiers so vogue! I think I have the line for this collection now, AN ORIGINAL COLLECTION FOR AN ORIGINAL PERSON!

Its finally her New york fashion week the busiest time of the year hundreds of shows in 8 days and 10s of blog post to! Fashion season means the blogging format for me is changed most of my daily post are no longer daily as have lots to do! So will mostly be blogging all about fashion shows, fashion week news, street style etc so there is no more celeb style unless there in a front row! Or no more look who is on the cover of vogue post! Im now in runway mode and will be until the end of paris fashion week! Though will be continuing look of the day! So already I feel like i've so much to do and have barley seen over 2 shows so im a while away from blogging just yet! Thats another thing most of my posts now will be at unusual times as I cant blog whilst im watching the shows but will keep you informed with all the blog updates as usual!! So lets just enjoy the mayhem that is fashion season!
